The Way tackles the idea of loss and the journey to acceptance that we all have to go through at some point in our lives. Typical of Bowl’s lyrically driven style, her writing is honest and raw - reminding us of the importance of grief and being vulnerable in the process of rebuilding happiness. With an infectious neo soul jazz vibe and experimental hip-hop influences China Bowls has played across the UK, from Colston Hall to Glastonbury, Boomtown and Bestival. She's a storyteller in her own right and delivers both extensive solo sets and dynamic full band performances. The Way follows from her EP- Talk released on Saffron Records in 2016, which saw the project gain momentum by working with and supporting the likes of Mr Woodnote - who also featured on one of the songs, Eva Lazarus and Bellatrix.
